Describe the bug

Verification repeatedly fails and making global chat unavailable.

Steps to reproduce

  1. start Minecraft
  2. open multiplayer menu
  3. click global chat button

Expected behaviour

expected global chat to function.

ModLoader Version

Forge- 14.23.5.2858

Additional Information

Global chat was working up to around a week or 2 ago. When it stopped working i updated to the latest 1.12.2 version but no luck.

Rolling back to 2.4.5 fixes the issue. this is the startup log from 2.4.5 which successfully connects
