In this contribution, I successfully integrated Linea, a cutting-edge Layer 2 scaling solution, into the Odos Aggregator. The entire process was powered by my customized version of the web3.py library, specifically designed to work with the Linea network using Python. This integration streamlines interactions with the Linea network within Odos, enabling efficient aggregation of liquidity and transactions.
By leveraging my custom web3.py library, I’ve ensured smooth interoperability with Linea’s advanced Layer 2 architecture, optimizing performance for decentralized finance (DeFi) operations and contributing to the scalability of the aggregator’s ecosystem.
What can I do with this library?

  1. Adopted Best Practices from the web3 Library: Incorporates proven methodologies and approaches.
  2. Enhanced and Selected Key Features: Improved and optimized the most valuable functionalities.
  3. Compose and Send Transactions Independently: Allows you to build and dispatch transactions on your own.
  4. Seamless Proxy Integration: Easily connect to proxies without issues.
  5. Gas Management for Fee Testing: Adjust gas settings to facilitate fee level testing.
  6. Asynchronous Structure: Supports asynchronous operations for better performance.
  7. Compatible with Any EVM Network: Suitable for use with any Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) compatible network.
