App crashes when trying to use split screen with already opened document

Describe the Bug

I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab S with physical keyboard. There I often use two apps parallelly - without any issues. But when I am using Collabora for editing a text document or doing a presentation and then want to use it in split screen e.g. to do some research I always end up in the bug of the new app opening whilst Collaboras part of the screen turns either grey or black and doesn't change anymore.

Only solution is then to close and reopen both apps with the second one before opening Collabora on the start page.
Sometimes it also works to exit the document in order to open split screen view and to go back into the document.

Steps to Reproduce

Have an android Tablet with you

1. open any document
2. Click on the editing button down right
3. Use samsungs side panels to open another app
4. See error: collabora stops, no bug report from android itself
5. close the split tabs and reopen the app and everything is fine

collaboras part of the screen turns black, doesn't react anymore
