Contributing

Code for Hampton Roads welcomes pull requests from everyone. If you would like to contribute to this project please follow these steps:

  • Check our issues list and pick something to work on.

  • Fork, then clone the repo

  • Make changes and push them back to your fork

  • Submit a pull request. Make sure to submit the request on the same branch you are working on.

From here we will review your code. At the very least we will provide comments or suggestions. If the code is complete and makes a valuable contribution to the project we will merge it with our codebase.
