Also, merge the recent changes on master of this project. I made some unrelated changes to the same file, so now Github can't auto-merge

@bschoenfeld I don't feel comfortable automerging this, as I've never worked with the API. Can you look it over?

You can't merge it. That was written back in the day when the finder and
API were in the same repo. Just gotta port it over.
