Releases: ClusterM/retroarch-clover
Updated Nestopia, FCEUmm and SNES9x2005
Changes:
- Now we're using the latest builds of these cores.
- Fixed mGBA SRAM saves
Now it's possible to use Firebrandx's more accurate palettes with Nestopia and FCEUmm and play Super Mario All-Stars with SNES9x2005 (game controls were not working).
Major fixes
Changes:
- Fixed FDS games not saving when using Nestopia
- Automatically create symlink to neogeo.zip for every game launched with fbalpha (no more neogeo.zip in every game folder!). Reinstall fb_alpha.hmod to enable this.
Now using snes9x2005 instead of snes9x2010 as a main SNES core
Changes:
-Apparently, there is a bug in the snes9x2010 core that causes it to create 5 MB savestates (thus rapidly filling up NES Mini's data partition). Because of that, we're using snes9x2005 as a main core from now on.
PicoDrive, XMB assets, BIOS template, various fixes
Changes:
- A lot of FDS fixes and shell optimizations
- Added PicoDrive core
- Removed mupen64plus core (it's too slow)
- Added XMB assets module
- Respect custom aspect ratio setting in retroarch.cfg
- Added BIOS module template
- Reverted mGBA core back to build from BuildBot (savestates issues)
New version
Changes:
- Cores are now represented as additional modules
- System dir is now '~/system'
- Core info dir is now '~/info'
- RGUI default browser dir is now '/usr/share/games/nes/kachikachi' instead of '/'
- Disabled bilinear filtering and enabled integer scaling for every NES Mini preset
- Now you can enter RGUI in-game menu by pressing Select + Start on the controller
- Option to use Nestopia instead of FCEUmm for regular NES games (use_nestopia.hmod)
- Added template for adding new cores via hakchi module system
- Now using mGBA as GBA core
- Added Stella core for Atari 2600 emulation
- Added mednafen_pce_fast as PCE/TG16 core
- Added fb_alpha cores for Neo-Geo and CPS II emulation
First public release
RetroArch mod for hakchi
This is hakchi/hakchi2 module which adds the RetroArch emulator to your NES Mini.
It will automatically detect unsupported NES games and run them instead of the default emulator. Save states will work as usual.
Also you can install Clover app to add RetroArch shortcut to NES Mini's menu.
It can also run games for other consoles. This pack already contains the following cores:
- fceumm (NES, many mappers, UNIF support)
- nestopia (NES, FDS)
- snes9x2010 (SNES)
- gambatte_libretro (GB, GBC)
- mednafen_gba (GBA)
- genesis_plus_gx (SMS/Genesis/MD)
- mupen64plus (N64)
Known issues:
- Nintendo 64 save-states are not working, battery backup working fine
- Default CRT filter is not working, scanlines shader added instead but it's not working with all systems.
- It's recommended to turn your NES Mini off from shell, not during game
