Change keyboard layout #1046

Hi,

Seems I can't change keyboard layout , I tried:

setting layout in the Menu via the UI
followed advices in Keyboard layout #114 and Keyboard in qwerty #143 (=using localectl to set config in /etc/vconcole.conf)
also manually changed the LANG variable in /etc/locale.conf
Although layout I set is good when switching to desktop mode none of the above worked: still stuck with english layout keyboard...

=> Did I miss something ?
