More a request than a problem with catchup TV.
I used Kodi for a long time and discovered catchup TV late.
I really appreciated the offer offered by this plugin and the fact that it is maintained carefully and regularly.
But for some time now I completely changed my network interface and switched to Plex.
The latter satisfies me on many points but after several months with it I miss the possibilities offered by catchup TV. hence my question,
Would it be possible to convert catchup TV into a docker container in order to be able to extend its integration to other applications (such as Plex in my case).
I don't know if this is technically possible but it would bring even more notoriety to the plugin and the work of the developers behind it and would open catchup TV to other platforms.

plex is even removing support for plugins.
see https://www.reddit.com/r/PleX/comments/1bf9yfu/why_is_plex_removing_support_for_plugins/
Developers won't spend time trying to develop something for a commercial product that can turn everything off overnight.

I would recommend you to keep kodi or to move an open source solution like emby or jellyfin.
Or use that commercial platform, as is.
