Hey everyone! New to CachyOS and wanted to improve other people's experience by writing down what impaired mine 🙂

When starting the ISO the user is greeted by KDE (which might be unfamiliar for lots of people). It's even more confusing that there's an icon in the taskbar that has no function, hovering shows it's for org.kde.discover.desktop. When clicking it, an error from KDE is presented calling out Unknown application folder.

I would recommend either installing KDE discover in the live ISO - though it seems to be unsupported and not recommended - or removing the shortcut somehow. Maybe this also needs fixing in the KDE package itself.

Hi,

Thanks for your suggestion - we have tried it in the past, but somehow KDE does automatically add it again.

I will look into once again for the upcoming release.
Its super annoying to have a empty shortcut, there you right.
