things like:

  1. How are we dealing with immunity from previous exposures, especially when you have multiple previous exposures, which immunity values should you use for any given challenging strain
  2. what effect does vaccination have on homologous exposures.

It's possible these things are just not understood well enough to justify changing our model. I did talk to Ed Schrom about it at one point; I don't recall him having strong opinions that were contrary to what we're doing.

He did ask yesterday if people wanted to talk about within-host dynamics and immunity. I think we check in with him about this again and then close this issue if he thinks what we're doing is reasonable.
