When I try to download a model it says:

There was an error downloading this particular model of whisper! The Client could not reach the server, to retrieve the model.

Also, I couldn't finde where the default location is, because I already have whisper large-v3.pt installed and would like to use it from videos.

Could you check your internet connection and specify what model you were downloading?

The default location ie the localstorage is managed and depends on the browser,
Currently there is no feature to load already installed models onto the website.

Without a .env file the software doesn't know where to download the model files and tries to get them from localhost.
