This is really a consern for me since most of the tutorials of running anything with a discrete GPU use some kind of optirun or prime-run. Because I installed Kubuntu 20.04.1 it already came with a Nvidia X Server Configuration Program that allows me to Switch between perfomance, on-demand and power saving mode. I also can run games with __Nvidia_PRIME_RENDER_OFFLOAD envs (I don't remember them all). Why I should install Bumblebee ? Does it give me more controll over my gpu ? Should I really install it on my computer ?
Thank you for the response in advance!

It's advantage is that it turns of the Nvidia GPU entirely with the use of the bbswitch kernel module.
I don't know how it is in the case of your solution.
