Remind To Lock

Remind To Lock is a home security application for the SmartThings home automation system monitors a door lock and sends push notifications, text messages and/or voice notifications if the door is left unlocked for longer than a specified period of time.

Features

  • Sends Push notifications (delivered to your SmartThings mobile app).
  • Sends text message (SMS) notifications to up to three phone numbers.
  • Voice notifications using compatible Text-to-Speech device.
  • Configurable time interval (in minutes) before the notification is sent.
  • Optionally, notifications can be repeated every N minutes.
  • Can set a limit on the number of notifications sent.

Installation

Before you can install this Smart App using your SmartThings smart phone app, you will have to self-publish it in the SmartThings IDE. Please refer to SmartThings Developer Documentation for more information.
