Actual behavior: The DefiChain Desktop Wallet doesn't start properly

Expected behavior: The Wallet starts and runs

How to reproduce it (as minimally and precisely as possible): Install a v4.2 on your MacOS (Intel) and start the app. In my case I had already a Desktop Wallet, a previous version and then installed the new one on top of the older one.

Directly after the app start an error message appears that reads: An error occurred while checking for a software update. Please manually download the latest release from defichain.com. (Only download the app from official sources)

After some couple of minutes another one dialog appears: Node is disconnected

What are your environment parameters?

  • DeFiCh/app Version: 4.2
  • Operating System (OS): MacOS Sequoia 15.1
    – RAM (GB): 32 GB
    – CPU (Intel Core i5/i7/etc.): Intel Core i9
  • Current free storage capacity: 137 GB

Anything else we need to know?

Are there any documentation available how completely uninstall the app on the MacOS? I would like to try it out.

Thank you guys in advance!
