From Fred R: "at times it is a real pain that the CCH2 maps don’t present any scale bar (or at least I haven’t figured out where it is hiding). Especially when you are checking up on a georeferenced location, it is a bit of a pain that you can’t tell simply looking at the map what sort of distance scale you are working with. Has adding a scaling scale bar ever come up? As it is now, I have to go to Google Earth or some other website and pull up a map, measure the distance independently and compare maps. I frequently find myself wondering what a kilometer or mile looks like at the scale am looking at for a particular location. Paper topo maps would have township, range, and sections, so you could at least hazard a guess pretty easily but the CCH2 topo is very basic when it comes to grids and names." https://help.symbiota.org/scp/tickets.php?id=4061
