HA 2024.10.x - Deprecated Sensor - assist_in_progress

In the 2024.10 release of HA you will get these messages for any devices using voice_assistant The message is a little misleading, you do NOT need to change anything in your device config.

If you were using the assist_in_progress binary sensor in HA for automations , scricpts etc then you will need to update these. This is only required within HA.

Clicking "submit" on the message will disable the binary sensor and add the new Assist Satellite sensor.

The new sensor has 4 states that will allow you greater control for scripts etc and also helps in troubleshooting as it allows some clarity as to which part of the voice command process is currently active.
