Hi! We've been suggested here: bitcart/bitcart#279 (reply in thread) by our users that it is a currently semi-official version of electrum for dash. Is this true? Will this project be maintained and updated with the latest changes in electrum from time to time?
Thank you for your time!

Hi. For the time being, the purpose of this repository was to bring the project back to a state in which development can be carried out. The long-term intention was for the repository to become the basis for an official Dash Electrum repository, ideally under the wing of DCG, but we'll see how it goes, as a lot depends on external factors. Whether changes from Electrum will be merged on an ongoing basis and what Dash-specific changes will be implemented depends largely on the available budget.

Currently, the coordination of work on this project is done through Trello: https://trello.com/c/yjgq85h0/214-electrum-dash

I see. Not sure how to get in contact with the Dash incubator etc, but for integration into BitcartCC payment processor all we need is an up-to-date electrum fork and the rest is on us. We upgrade electrums from time to time when I find and fix some issues in it

I would really love to see Dash support in bitcartCC. Thank you @MrNaif2018 to contact the team yourself.

Hi! I mean, basically for Bitcart to support Doge, all we need is a maintained electrum fork. Once in a while we update and pin all electrums to a specific commit, that's how the system works. Everything else works automatically

@MrNaif2018 sure, you can find latest electrum dash in the github releases. 4.1.7.2 should be working
