Journaling is both a necessity and a hard thing to achieve. I have been journaling for many years and even though one eventually gets reasonably good at it, that doesn't mean that the process cannot leverage new technologies to improve itself. This is personal hyper-journaling.
Solution
Since OMI has a perfect memory, why not having it summarising our day notes in a personal way, correctly tagging important words off our daily records using sentiment analysis? (SA-Tagging)
Alternatives
I've been using multiple services and methodologies- including contributing to academic research on topic, developing record-building and record-keeping frameworks and templates for different journaling applications and modalities.
It is time for our personal tech to help us catch more of our world, parse it intelligently, and according to our own personal experiences and language. It is time we have a way to travel through these memories using context, linking our ideas, thoughts, views and memories.
OMI as a SOT
It's a no-brainer that OMI should be the platform for this. Very few platforms offer this much alignment between personal record-making and personal context retrieval.
OMI has the potential to play out as a person's sentiment "context maker", quickly making sense of things that would have otherwise been missed, and helping users beyond simply mechanising what is spoken around them.
It can be the instrument for us to build these records into something personal, reusable, and easily retrievable.
As a hyper-journaling tool that's always on you, and always with you, this plugin is only the first step towards a powerful sense-making tool for ideas, research and self-discovery.
Possibly its biggest "Why Not?".
