What problem should the plugin solve?
I’d like to have a Shazam-like experience where the OMI (O-M-I) friend can listen to and identify songs that are playing throughout the day. This would allow me to track what songs were played and when, making it easy to create Spotify playlists from them. The goal is to streamline the process of saving music I hear without needing to manually look up each song.

Describe the solution you'd like
The OMI friend should be able to generate a list of songs heard throughout the day, including timestamps of when each song was played. Ideally, this could automatically create a Spotify playlist using the Spotify API, or at the very least, provide an option in the app to generate a playlist based on the identified songs. It could recognize songs either through lyrics or the song itself, leveraging something like the Shazam API for song recognition.

Describe alternatives you've considered. Or give examples of other apps/features that have it
Shazam already offers music recognition, but it requires manually opening the app and tagging each song. This solution would provide a more passive, always-on experience that tracks songs throughout the day and automatically builds playlists, something no current app does to this extent.

Additional context
There’s likely some back-end similar to Shazam that uses an API for identifying songs, so this feature should be feasible to implement. By automating playlist creation and song tracking, it would make managing and discovering music much more seamless and enjoyable.
