COSMOS 4.5.2 on M1 MacBook Pro #1811
Comments
COSMOS 4 won't work on M1 macs, because there is no qt4 package available, even with Homebrew. You'll need to upgrade to COSMOS 5. See openc3.com. |

Hello. I am trying to install COSMOS on my M1 MacBook Pro, but having no luck. I was able to install v5 using the alternate installation method on your website, but I was not able to find a way to install an older version. Also, when I installed the most recent version and tried the demo test as listed on the same installation direction page, when I ran "cosmos demo test" it kept showing "Unknown Task" and when I ran "ruby Launcher" command, it kept showing "No such file or directory" error.
I would like to first see if there is a way to install COSMOS v4 on my M1 Mac, and if there is no way to do so, want to see if I can run v5 properly at least, so I can try the system I have (v4 based) can run on v5.
Thank you very much in advance!
