The item I edited disappeared

I assume this is because the edit panel is tied to visible list row instead of a list item id.

To reproduce

• Open a larger list that you have edit permissions for.
• Edit an item by changing the scientific name and save. Note that you need to enter a scientific name that, given the sort, would move it to another page, or somewhere else on the current page.
• The list order changes.
• The list item disappears from the edit panel.
