We are currently showing "all records" for a given species on species pages, however I believe we used to include a default filter for &fq=geospatial_kosher%3A"true", which removed records that had been flagged or had failed some of the DQ tests.
A good example is the species page for red kangaroo. The occurrence records map shows dots in Tasmania, which are already flagged and fail some of outlier tests. Adding the geospatial_kosher filter will remove those from the map, which is a "better look".
If agreed, the fix is to append the request param &fq=geospatial_kosher%3A"true" to all biocache URLs on species page (both WMS tile requests and links to biocache search pages. Probably worth adding to SP links as well.
