Either bie-plugin/ala-bie or bie-index returned an HTTP 200 code for an error, which resulted in the error being cached by nginx based on the following report:

https://bie.ala.org.au/species/http://id.biodiversity.org.au/node/apni/2910678 seems to be coming back very fast for an error, so I think it’s got cached. https://bie-ws.ala.org.au/ws/species/http://id.biodiversity.org.au/node/apni/2910678 returns a valid result

Switching nginx caching off completely until these issues are fixed.
