On using species pages intensively over the last month or so, I have noticed an increasing lag time between selecting a taxon and the return of the species page with occurrence records.
Over the course of this morning, I've been recording what species pages I've visited and how long it's taken for actual occurrences to appear on the page and it is in the attached. Most of the species pages I've queried today have returned a page unresponsive error and most take over 20 seconds to return an answer.
The problem today is this call by biocache-service curl -X POST -H "content-type: application/json" "https://images.ala.org.au/ws/findImagesByMetadata" -d '{ "key": "occurrenceid", "values": ["718cc91a-c476-47d1-9914-ff9818ac3a0a"]}'. There are 3 per page visit and they are consistently taking >20s to respond.
