The idea is that if an artist is without artworks, in another repository may have artworks and when they are reconciled they will be merged and then this one will "have" eventually artworks but from another institution. So i don't think that is a problem.
@spykoulouris does the I tatti's resource has artworks? If yes that's a problem.

All artists in the partners data should have artworks linked. Otherwise these artists wouldn't have been in the partners' databases

He is not the creator though, the relation is cfr:Work_influenced_by_Artist

Other example of artist Bartolomeo Morganti. In this case the image does not appear in artresearch and the link to the original record in Hollis does not work..
