Percentage grid position

A suggestion: be able to place a grid at a relative position (eg: 50%)

That's a great idea! I can imagine a whole section for a feature called "Put" or something better, and you just enter a number like this, choose orientation, and hit "Put." For example:

• 10 50 20 would put three guides, at 10u 50u and 20u, where u is the default ruler unit.
• 50% 60% would put two guides at those positions.

Yes, that would be great.

And a further improvement (after this has been done) would be for example if the document size gets changed, or the "layer" the guide was applied to changes size, to auto-update the guide position to keep it at 50% of the new document/layer size.

That would be really great, but I don't think Photoshop provides the kind of API that would allow us to do that.

Panels like Griddify are just hacks on Photoshop, until a better alternative to Photoshop itself comes along :)
