Running ST3 Build 3114 with alpenglow-theme on Debian 8.4 Jessie.
Sometimes when I try to open a file directly with ST3 from the file manager, the content of the file does not show up (no line numbers, no content, static cursor). When I close ST and re-open it again, the file displays correctly.
Any idea how to solve this?

I have been able to drill the problem further down:
This happens for any file type / extensions, but only if there is a project folder already opened in Sublime Text. For example, if you are working on a project in ST and you close ST without removing the files / folder. When you then try to open a different file that us not related to this directory, it will not display.
So far, I have only observed this behavior in the Afterglow-theme and therefore I switched to Alpenglow to see if the same thing happens. Haven't noticed it on a fresh install with standard theme.
