Things to look at:
{S1_Session1, S2_Session2} are redundant, use {S1_Raw, S2_Raw}?

Registered stacks aren't clearly associated with the base stacks.
e.g., S2_Registered should maybe be S2_Stitched_Registered.

Use a better name for "grossStackN" (registration).
