Windows AVX2 64 Build
Win 11

Mercury does not currently integrate itself into Windows 11 properly. Under defaults there is no 'Browser' section and by extension Mercury can't be set. Also if you drag URL from the bar to your desktop and create a shortcut, Windows doesn't know what to do with it. It only offers to open with the Idiot Store built into Windows rather than browse PC for Mercury.

I've found this in the meantime that seems to bandaid the issue:

I can't use Mercury to open pdf or html files by default, I imagine that's the same issue. That's quite annoying.

html can be fixed with above (or Windows defaults), can't remember.

PDF should work, in Mercury settings there's an Open/Use Programs list, you need to set it there and I believe there's a second checkbox somewhere to open PDFs, it's easy to miss.

(I'm on my tablet ATM hence the slight ambiguity)
