The camel xsd is very similar for both blueprint and spring (the only difference is namespace), so it would be great to have this plugin work for spring too.

Thanks for the feedback! :)

Unfortunately it is not currently a possibility to add Spring support within IntelliJ 12, as the Jetbrain's Spring Plugin is currently closed source, and therefore impossible to interop with.

It would be interesting to see how this develops in the future however

As an update to this ticket, JetBrains did indeed open source their Spring API. So this is possible now.
