Interview questions / author survey #8
Comments
I finished up adding to the the interview questions. |
Looks good, great questions :) |
Thank you! From which database are authors selected? |
OSF we can start with this list:
|
Please demonstrate a step by step procedure of administering interviews. Especially with an example of interviews administered before. Or if none yet, You could do the first one and capture screenshots or do a description through google doc or through the comments here. |
That's it - once we agree on the final version of the feature article we can publish the first one together on the website and then you are good to go from there :) You find the contact details of the corresponding author on the manuscript file, usually first page, sometimes last. Template email text: Dear (full name), thank you for using AfricArXiv for the dissemination of your research results. Your manuscript entitled (title and url) was downloaded xx times until today. We would like to take this opportunity to ask a few questions about your experience in using AfricArXiv/OSF and also to feature your work in a blog post on our website: (add url). (greeting and email signature) |
Please fetch the emails or provide a link to the email addresses of the authors. |

Looks great, Asante sana! 💯 |
Is it okay now? |
can you adjust/edit a page on the wiki with the details of how the interviews are evolving? |
Should we convert the questions from https://github.com/AfricArxiv/community-engagement/blob/master/user-interview.md into a Google Form?
Alternatively we could email them as text
ask for image upload (profile picture of the author)
ask for public profile urls (ORCID, ResearchGate, Twitter, Google Scholar, Github
next step will be to email our authors one by one to respond to the questions for an interview to be published on the blog
