I'm trying to build the library and it fails because of a missing dependency. Could you please tell me where I can get this from? It's a native cpp library, or?
You find the detailed log below. Furthermore, apparently I was lucky because I do have CMake, Visual Studio and friends installed. However, may there be other software necessary to build LibAPR and friends?
Thanks!
Cheers,
Robert

Hi, we are using the most known and supported distribution of HDF5 (link). The other library that is used and should be installed in the system is libtiff but this should be already there.
Please let us know if installing HDF5 helped.
EDIT: Currently we are building and developing it under Linux and MacOS. But should not be any differences on Windows. As soon as LibAPR itself builds the rest should be smooth - @skalarproduktraum was using LibAPR in Windows env. so at least we know it is possible :-)
