Filtering in Donor Index #239
Comments
The donor filtering has been now implemented in sample index. However as each donor could have multiple consent forms or from different studies, it is better to use sample index for consent filter. |
Hi Chuan, we've decided that each LIMBDON ID would be one collection, so there should only be one consent per donor now. If the same donor had consented through a study, they would have a separate LIMBDON number that is associated via the Master Participant number. Would it be possible to add the filtering to the Donor index, because it would help identifying samples that could be uploaded to databases, such as TDCC? |
Ok, that is fine. The system will still allow multiple consent for each donor, we can also make this donor index as donor consent index. However, you can also search this in the sample index, where the same donor info could be provided. Also in sample index, you can find samples with consents that have no donor info. |
Perfect, thanks Chuan! It’s great to be able to do this through both indexes. |
Please can I request an update on this particular function, as it would be very useful for the Donor Index. |
Hello,
Would it be possible to simplify the filtering in the Donor Index, so that they appear on the left as dropdown boxes?
'Samples (New)' could just be a list of the derivative/aliquot end points, rather than including the parent samples (except where a blood/urine parent is an end point in itself). All we need to see in this index is what is available.
The only other filter that would be useful for this section is lack of consent for particular question types (genetic tests etc)
