If you've been using Grid Game, you've probably noticed some things about it.
It's called 'Grid Game', which is incredibly generic.
Things aren't named in the game itself, but they're informally cities, which send out soldiers.
Everything just looks like a coloured square on a white board.
These all point to one simple fact; I've got no imagination.
Or, more accurately, development comes from, and focuses on, the game dynamic, spawning points which create completely equal attackers, which can group up to become bigger, or new spawning points.
Here's what I'd like from you; Grid Game needs some concept, which could guide its name, user experience and visual identity. Answer questions like:
What could the two main objects be?
Why are the colours in conflict?
Would this help to explain how or why the game dynamic works?
Could a snappy name point to this concept?
Help me by being my imagination?
Text descriptions, visual mock-ups, or even vauge ideas are welcome.
