Contributing
If you wish to contribute to 86Box Manager, there are several ways you can do that.
This is the least you can do as a basic user if you want to help improve the project. Contact me (see README.MD
for contact details) to provide feedback and see the "Troubleshooting steps" page here on the wiki for reporting issues.
If you're a more advanced user, you can set up the required development environment and make changes to the code. Feel free to submit a pull request to get your changes into the main branch. Please note that as the lead developer and maintainer of this project, I reserve the right to review all pull requests before merging them, and to reject any that contain changes I deem unfit for merging. You will of course be credited for your contributions.
If you wish to create something new based on existing 86Box Manager code without submitting pull requests, you're free to fork the project in accordance with the MIT license (see the LICENSE
file for more information) under which this project is licensed. Please note that I may or may not look at the changes you've made in your fork and port them over to the main branch of 86Box Manager.
