API Endpoint Additions/Changes

Objective

To enhance our existing API by adding new endpoints or potentially replacing it with a more comprehensive drop-in API solution.

Key Focus

Addressing the lack of CRUD (Create, Read, Update, Delete) functionality for managing personnel information that is currently handled inefficiently through spreadsheets.

Required Additions

• Time in Service
• Time in Grade
• PAF Logs entries
• Metadata/Notes on members for S1 backside
• Additional "custom fields" for miscellaneous data needs

Context

Some of the required additions may or may not already exist but are not effectively utilized in current use cases.

Problem Statement

Departments are resorting to spreadsheets to manage personnel and their progress through defined processes due to the absence of CRUD capabilities in the current API.

By implementing this project, we aim to streamline the personnel management process, making it more efficient and centralized, while reducing the reliance on spreadsheets.
