Library Profile: We need objects for the ParticipationEvent & Attended.

We need identifiers for the ParticipationEvent and Attended, which is about interacting with library services (and usually a person, though not always). We need like two layers here, as I'm imagining it. First we need to know what the library participation event is; the four choices are probably reference, instruction, outreach, and exhibit. Then for each of these there would be attributes as well (if attributes is the right word).

Reference: time/date, location/venue, mode (physical desk, consultation/appointment, zoom, chat, email, text, phone call...), and there could be other categories like the substance of the reference interaction, like what outcome was addressed (define information need, search for information, evaluate information, use information, use information ethically).

Instruction: time/date, location/venue, course associated (and then course/section code) or not-course-associated (like a workshop), mode (classroom or lab, zoom...), and again outcomes addressed might be helpful

Outreach: time/date, location/venue

Exhibit: time/date, location/venue

Possible Categories:

• Reference (user questions, how to I find answers to this question, where is the bathroom, etc.)
• instruction (teaching library learning outcomes, teaching lab, guest lectures, related to a course, non-curriculum integrated instruction,
• outreach (helping others with their learning outcomes)
• event/exhibit (special collections exhibit, not necessarily have librarian present)
